Job Description
NCN Thompson Bus is expanding! We’re looking for new Drivers who hold a Class 1 or Class 2 with Air Brake Endorsements, with a minimum of two years ‘driving Experience. Best pay package in the industry with benefits
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete required paperwork such as log books, dispatch sheets, pre-trips and post-trips-Notify dispatch of any motor coach problems
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, fueled and safe bus
- Must be willing to complete Long Haul Charters and Single Day Trips
- Exceptional customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Maintain a Class 1 or Class 2 with Air Brake Endorsements Licence
- Maintain an active Drivers Abstract

Depot Manager for Winnipeg depot will be responsible for customer service, daily bus manifest audits, cash audits, dispatching freight pickups, routing phone queries to various departments in company.

Outside Sales Representative: Freight Sales
Job Description
NCN Thompson Bus is expanding! We’re looking for a representive for Winnipeg and Thompson operations
Responsibilities and Duties
- Pick up and drop off freight from existing clients with in Winnipeg
- Site visits and door knocking for new customers on field (30% of the job role)
- Tele calling to potential customers with in Manitoba for freight services (20% of the job role)
- Making sure company freight van is kept well and sent to service vendor in time for regular maintenance. Pre-trip and post trip for the freight van on daily basis
- Ensuring the freight clients are updated on freight pos for the company. Account creation and activation for new clients
- Checking the freight pos job status on regular basis and taking client feedback

Heavy Duty Motor coach/Truck Mechanic
Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspect buses daily and determine is adjustments or repairs needed.
- Able to understand electrical & HVAC schematics.
- Diagnose mechanical problems in buses.
- Perform Monthly and semi-annual DOT Safeties
- Follow and implement PM programs
- Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components.
- Lubricate & grease buses as required.
- Must have own tools.
- Follows safe work procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:
- Journeyperson status.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement. (class 3 with air is an asset)
- Ability to job task plan and organize. Ability to problem solves, think critically, and make decisions.
- Heavy lifting required.
- Past Bus experience is an asset
Working Conditions
- Work is completed in doors
- Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Monday – Friday. On call as required if Bus breaks down while in use
