How long does it take to confirm my booking?

Instantly, once booked.

What is the check in time?

Passengers should be at the depot or Winnipeg airport to check at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

What is not allowed on or underneath the bus?

Following items are not allowed to be transported on Bus

  1. Frozen meat or any food item transported as Freight. Product needs to be packed in cooler or appropriate box from where it can’t leak any kind of fluids out. In case the product is not packed or stored properly the service will be refused. The Motorcoaches luggage bins are not temperature controlled. The sender and receiver are shipping the products at there risk, if the product gets damaged during shipping, company will not be paying any damages.
  2. Batteries of any size (24v or 12v) new or used are not allowed to be stored underneath or inside the bus. It considered as dangerous goods.
  3. Cakes and any baked food items (frozen or non-frozen) are not allowed on bus.
  4. Pets are not allowed to travel by themselves (Inside or underneath the bus). Pets needs to be accompanied by a traveller, and they must be secured inside the kennel all the time when the bus is moving
  5. Any used auto part which is having fluids (Engine oil, tranny oil) still in it are not allowed in the bus to be shipped. If there are any leaks from the used or new auto parts, the package holder must pay for the cleaning of the bus compartment.
  6. Any item which comes under the category of dangerous, hazardous or restricted goods would not be allowed to be loaded on the bus or underneath the bus

NCN Thompson Bus team wants the passengers and freight customers to have best and safe services. All these precautionary steps are taken to avoid any incidents. In case someone is found to get any restricted items on the bus, RCMP will be informed, and the services will be denied for future as well.

Can I bring my pet(s)?

Pets (medium and small size) are allowed on the bus, pets have to stay in the kennel/pet carrier all the time during the bus ride. However, SERVICE ANIMALS that are trained and registered, will be permitted to travel with the person at no additional charge with the proper paperwork. The animal must have the appropriate documentation, or they WILL NOT be permitted onboard. PLEASE call 48 hours in advance before your trip to make sure your animal is permitted to be onboard. Emotional support animals are NOT allowed to be onboard

How do I book for a sports team, school district, private charter for tourism, private events or business needs?

How long do you keep lost and found items?

Any lost items on the bus like cell phones , wallets, ids, purses , glasses or any other valuables will be kept lost and found for a maximum of 30 days . NCN Thompson bus will not be responsible for any lost items. Passengers are requested to collect all there respective valuables before getting off the bus.
